Running Wild是来自德国汉堡的重金属乐队，1976年由吉他手兼主唱Rolf Kasparek创建，最初以硬朗的速度金属与重金属起家，1984年推出首张专辑《Gates to Purgatory》。乐队以“海盗金属”形象闻名，1987年的《Under Jolly Roger》确立了这一方向，之后用连续多张作品把海盗叙事、史诗旋律与高速吉他段落融为一体，成为欧陆重金属的代表性力量之一。
