在长达数十年的创作历程中，Lacrimas Profundere 通过《Burning A Wish》、《Fall, I Will Follow》、《Ave End》等专辑不断深化其标志性的“泪痕悲歌”美学，歌词与音乐均充满自省、失落与浪漫的黑暗气息。2006年的《Filthy Notes For Frozen Hearts》进一步展现了乐队向哥特摇滚的过渡，而后续作品《Songs For The Last View》、《The Grandiose Nowhere》及《Antiadore》则延续了其阴郁而动人的音乐叙事，使乐队成为欧洲哥特/厄运金属场景中独树一帜的存在。
